December 2025 Letter
Dear Family and Friends,
Tomorrow and Tuesday will be our last days serving at Welfare Square as missionaries. Wednesday of this week we will be moving home and meet with our Stake President, President Shakespear, to be released. We anticipate that he will instruct us to remove our badges at that time. It is already a bit emotional to think of it ending our mission and removing the badge. We will, however, be ready to find other ways to serve in our own community, amongst our family and neighbors.
We have been taking a lot of pictures with each of our missionaries standing by us. They are so amazing. I know we have said this before but we LOVE them. They come with a desire to serve; a desire to lift; a desire to do their best. It is gratifying to see them overcome challenges.
Welfare Square was closed for a couple days during the Thanksgiving holiday. The first few days of that week were extra busy at the Bishop's Storehouse. With Thursday through Saturday being closed, we spent that time at home and were blessed to spend much of Thanksgiving day with family. We put up the Christmas Tree and decorated it for Thanksgiving. We are grateful for all our many blessings. We give thanks to a loving Heavenly Father and to our savior Jesus Christ who have blessed us with so much in our lives. Our family and friends are amongst the many blessings that we are grateful for. Though we have certainly had some trials in life and indeed even on our mission, They have blessed us and helped us through those trials.

We were happy to see more family members make it down for a personalized tour with us over the past month. It has been delightful to greet family and friends that have made the trip down to meet with us and to see what we do as well as to tour the Welfare Square. Welfare Square is somewhat magical to us. We certainly feel a good spirit there.
This past Friday, we were able to meet in person the Thomas's who will be taking our place as the young service missionary site coordinators. They seem like they will be a wonderful blessing to the young service missionaries. They spent several hours with us to get a first feel for what they will be doing there. This coming week, they will be at the MTC where they will receiving missionary training and a spiritual boost. We will come down the following week and spend a couple days with them to help them get started.
Next Sunday (December 14th), we will be sharing our missionary report in our home ward. If you are interested in joining us on that day, we will be speaking in the 9:00a sacrament meeting. The address is: 5870 N 4700 W
Bear River City, Utah 84301
If you cannot be present but would like to join via Zoom, reach out before Sunday and we will send you the link.
We would love to greet all of you in the coming days to say hello and tell you again that we love you. We are planning on two occasions where we will be welcoming all that would like to come by our home. We will be prepared with a treat on both of these occasions. We welcome you at any other time as well (but we may not have a treat prepared).
For those of you that live close by, if your schedule permits, we want to invite you to drop by on Monday evening (December 15th) between 6:00p and 8:00p.
For those of you that are coming from out of town to be with us as we report our mission on December 14th, please stop by anytime that day.
